At the same time, Union Home Minister Amit Shah wrote on the social media platform X regarding the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, 'I am saddened by the terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.

Those involved in this heinous terrorist attack will not be spared and we will take strict action against the culprits and give them the harshest punishment.'
