Reshuffle after Pahalgam terror attack, transfer of many officers including SHO

Instructions to conduct mock drills across the country
Amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan after the Pahalgam terror attack, the Union Home Ministry has instructed several states to conduct civil defense drills on May 7 (Wednesday). Government sources have given this information.
According to sources, air raid warning sirens will be sounded during this exercise and common citizens and students will be trained on how to protect themselves during enemy attacks.

Sources also said that arrangements will also be made for blackout preparations and quick camouflage of important plants and institutions during the drill.
