Saint Premanand Maharaj: An important news has come out for the followers of Vrindavan's famous saint Pujya Premanand Maharaj. Keeping in mind the increasing number of devotees and Maharaj ji's health, it has been decided to postpone his famous night walk indefinitely. This journey used to take place every day at 2 o'clock in the night till Shri Hit Radha Keli Kunj, where thousands of devotees used to flock to see Maharaj ji.

However, due to excessive increase in crowd in recent days and health reasons, this decision has been taken.

'Bhajan Marg' account shared this information on social media

A post was shared on Thursday, February 6 from Pujya Premanand Maharaj's official social media X (formerly Twitter) platform 'Bhajan Marg'. The post read with a photo, "In view of the health of Pujya Maharaj ji and increasing crowd, his night walk is postponed indefinitely."

As soon as this news came out, disappointment was seen among his followers, but at the same time everyone is giving priority to Maharaj ji's health.

Step taken due to increasing crowd

During this padayatra of Premanand Maharaj, thousands of devotees used to gather on the roadside every day and participate in bhajan-kirtan. Devotees used to enthusiastically join the yatra amidst drums and bhajans. But, in the last few days, objections were lodged by the local residents regarding this event.

Some women of the colony had especially registered their objection to the disturbance caused by drums and fireworks. In view of this growing protest and Maharaj ji's health, on February 6, Shri Hit Radha Keli Kunj Parikar Shridham Vrindavan announced the indefinite suspension of the padayatra.

Disappointment among devotees

Premanand Maharaj's devotees have certainly been disappointed by this decision, but they are considering Maharaj ji's health more important. Many devotees have shared messages on social media praying for Maharaj ji's long life and good health.

Will padayatra start again?

There has been no official announcement yet as to when this yatra will start again. Devotees hope that as soon as the conditions are favorable, this grand padayatra of Maharaj ji will be started again.
