Will the war between Russia and Ukraine end? The US President Donald Trump has intensified efforts to reach a peace agreement with Russia after becoming the President of America and this question is being repeated again and again. 1111 days have passed since the war started and no one still has a concrete answer to this question.

1.Russia announced on Sunday, March 9, that it has occupied the Sumy region of Ukraine for the first time since 2022. On the other hand, Ukraine is struggling to maintain its hold in Russia's neighboring Kursk region. Russia has claimed to regain control of four new villages in its Kursk border region.

3.Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is scheduled to reach Saudi Arabia on Monday, March 10. Zelensky said that he will meet Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Monday itself. After this, his team will stay for a meeting with the US team on Tuesday. Top Ukrainian officials are scheduled to meet US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and National Security Advisor Mike Waltz in Saudi Arabia.

4.Donald Trump said on Sunday, March 10 that he expects good results from the talks. Speaking to the media, he said that his government has almost lifted the ban on sharing intelligence with Ukraine. The government is considering many things regarding tariffs on Russia.

5.President Trump said that he thinks Ukraine will sign a mineral deal with the US.

6.Ukrainian President Zelensky has said that Russia had carried out "hundreds of attacks" on Ukraine last week. About 1,200 targeted aerial bombs, about 870 attack drones and more than 80 missiles of different types have been used.

7.According to an AFP report, Ukraine's General Staff said that Russian forces had used an underground gas pipe to reach the outskirts of Sudja, the main city controlled by Ukraine.
