US: Kash Patel removed as acting chief of firearms, ATF, has ties with India
US: After US President Donald Trump took oath, Indian-origin Kash Patel had a big responsibility in his team. Patel was made the director of the FBI by Trump as soon as he came. Now the news is that he has been removed from the post of Acting Director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Weapons and Explosives (ATF). In his place, this post will now be in the hands of Daniel Driscoll. This has been confirmed by US officials.
While Patel was sworn in as the acting ATF leader on February 24. Three days ago, he was sworn in as the FBI director, a post he still holds.
