Weather Update: Fire will rain from the sky, heat wave alert in these states
Weather Update: A period of severe heat continues in India at the end of April 2025. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heatwave warning for many states of North, West and Central India. Temperatures in Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat and Maharashtra have been recorded 5–10 degrees Celsius higher than normal. Meanwhile, a warning has been issued by the IMD that the weather will remain the same for the next four days.
The Meteorological Department says that even before the month of May begins, fire will start raining from the sky. That is, there are chances of intense heat.

At the same time, people are troubled by storms and strong winds in some areas. Meanwhile, IMD has issued a big alert.
Weather condition in major states
Delhi: The maximum temperature in the capital Delhi is expected to be 41°C and the minimum temperature 24°C on Tuesday, 22 April. According to the IMD, the temperature may increase by 1–2 degrees in the next few days. However, no heatwave alert has been issued for Delhi at present.
Rajasthan: Continuous heatwave warning has been issued in the western and eastern parts of Rajasthan from 22 to 25 April. Temperatures may reach 43–46°C in areas like Jaisalmer, Barmer and Bikaner.
Uttar Pradesh: Heatwave conditions are also likely to persist in the eastern and western parts of Uttar Pradesh from 22 to 25 April. The maximum temperature in Lucknow and surrounding areas may reach 40–42°C.
Gujarat: Heatwave warning has been issued in Saurashtra and Kutch regions of Gujarat from 22 to 24 April. The maximum temperature in Ahmedabad may reach 43°C.
Maharashtra: Marathwada and Vidarbha regions of Maharashtra are likely to receive light rain and thundershowers. However, hot and humid conditions may persist in some areas.
Keep these things in mind
Avoid going out between 12 and 4 pm.
- Drink adequate amount of water and fluids.
- Wear light and loose clothes.
- Take special care of the elderly, children and sick persons
It is very important to be alert and take necessary precautions during this scorching heat.
