According to sources, Shiv Sena will reveal its future strategy only after the decision on the CM. The 9 departments that are being demanded also include the Urban Development Ministry. It is being said that in the meeting of CM Shinde, Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar with Amit Shah in Delhi, no name was announced, or information was given for the CM. It was only indicated that the CM will be from BJP.

Swearing-in ceremony will be held on 5 December
Let us tell you that BJP has announced that the swearing-in ceremony of the new government in Maharashtra will be held on 5 December at Azad Maidan. Even though this seen as a signal for Eknath Shinde to take his decision soon on whether to join the Devendra Fadnavis-led government or not. Maharashtra BJP chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule said in a video post on X that the swearing-in ceremony will be held at Azad Maidan and PM Modi will attend it.

The BJP's confidence is based on the numbers it has in the assembly. The BJP has 132 MLAs of its own and also has the support of five independent MLAs. Thus, it needs the support of only 8 MLAs to prove majority on its own in the 288-member Maharashtra Assembly. With the support of 41 MLAs of Ajit Pawar's party NCP, this figure reaches 178.
