Earlier, the three big leaders of Mahayuti - CM Shinde, BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis and NCP chief Ajit Pawar had a marathon meeting of about 3 hours with Amit Shah in Delhi. After the meeting, all three leaders returned to Mumbai and today a big meeting was to be held between the three leaders of Mahayuti in Mumbai to discuss the departments.

Meeting was held with Amit Shah on Thursday night
Earlier yesterday late evening, Home Minister Amit Shah spoke separately to Devendra Fadnavis, Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar at his residence in Delhi. BJP President JP Nadda, NCP Working President Praful Patel, NCP MP Sunil Tatkare also reached Shah's house. The meeting went on for about three hours but still the name of the CM could not be decided.
After the meeting, Eknath Shinde, Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar all three returned to Mumbai late at night. This was the first meeting. Shah and JP Nadda were met in it.
According to Shinde, the leaders of Mahayuti will hold a second meeting in Mumbai in which a decision will be taken on the name of the CM.

In the meanwhile, Shinde reiterated that there is no obstacle regarding the post of Chief Minister and "Laadla Bhai" is a title that means more to him than anything else. I had made my stand clear in the press conference yesterday that there is no obstacle regarding the Chief Minister of Mahayuti.
Shinde said in the meeting, "This 'Laadla Bhai' has come to Delhi and 'Laadla Bhai' is bigger than any post for me.
Despite getting a bumper mandate
Let us tell you that the results of the Maharashtra Assembly elections were declared on November 23 in which the Mahayuti got 233 seats. Despite getting such a bumper mandate, the ruling BJP-led Mahayuti alliance has not yet finalized its choice for the Chief Minister. In the 280-member Maharashtra Assembly, the BJP emerged as the largest party with 132 seats.
