Prashant Kishor Arrested: 95 days of politics landed Prashant Kishor in jail!

BPSC Protest: Jan Suraj founder Prashant Kishore, who was on hunger strike demanding cancellation of Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC)'s 70th PT exam, has been arrested by Patna Police. According to the information received, his vanity van has also been seized. His medical checkup has been done at Fatuha Hospital. Patna police will now present him in Patna court in a short while.

Let us tell you that PK was taken into custody from Gandhi Maidan at around 3:45 in the morning. Jan Suraj has also accused the police of slapping PK.

Prashant Kishor, founder of Jan Suraj, has been arrested by the police early in the morning today (Monday, 6 January). He was on a hunger strike at Gandhi Maidan in Patna for the last 5 days demanding the cancellation of the BPSC exam. Today early in the morning, the police reached Gandhi Maidan and forcibly picked up PK and took him with them.
According to the information, the police is now preparing to present PK in the court and send him to jail. An FIR was registered against him for instigating BPSC candidates and disturbing the peace and order of Patna. It is being said that the police have arrested PK in this case.

Apart from this, PK is accused of fasting in Gandhi Maidan without permission. According to information received from sources, the administration had sent notices to Prashant Kishore several times to vacate Gandhi Maidan, despite this he was still present in Gandhi Maidan. His fast continued for five days here and after that the police took action early this morning. The police have also detained some protesters along with PK. For the last 5 hours, the police have been roaming around Patna with him.

After being disillusioned with the BJP, he came close to Nitish Kumar and worked for him. After winning the 2015 Bihar elections, Nitish Kumar made him the vice-president of JDU. However, he soon became disillusioned with JDU.

After this, he has played an important role in making leaders like Arvind Kejriwal, Mamta Banerjee, Captain Amarinder Singh, YSR Jagan Mohan Reddy and MK Stalin win elections. In Bihar politics, Prashant Kishore launched his new party 'Jan Suraj' on 2 October last year. He is about to reach jail after just 95 days of politics.
