On the question of pushing BJP MPs in the Parliament premises, Rahul Gandhi said that the members of the ruling party stopped the opposition MPs from entering the Parliament House and threatened them. He said - I was trying to go inside the Parliament. But the BJP MPs were trying to stop me, pushing and threatening me.
It is our right to go inside the Parliament
Rahul Gandhi claimed that the opposition leaders were pushed, but it does not matter to him. The Congress leader said, this is the Parliament, and it is our right to go inside." Rahul Gandhi, who often wears a white T-shirt, reached the Parliament on Thursday wearing a blue T-shirt. He said that the main issue is that the Constitution and the memory of Babasaheb have been insulted.
Pratap Sarangi's head injury
The BJP alleged that Rahul Gandhi pushed and shoved, due to which its MP Pratap Sarangi fell and suffered a head injury. In fact, when the Congress and opposition parties protested in the Parliament premises against Home Minister Amit Shah over his comment on Babasaheb Ambedkar, the members of the Bharatiya Janata Party protested accusing the main opposition party of insulting the Constitution maker. There was also alleged pushing and shoving between the members of the ruling party and the opposition.
Allegation of pushing on Rahul Gandhi
The Bharatiya Janata Party alleged that the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi pushed and shoved, in which its MP Pratap Sarangi suffered a head injury. On the other hand, Rahul Gandhi claimed that BJP MPs prevented him from entering the Parliament House and pushed him.
BJP MP Nishikant Dubey, while talking to media, alleged, "Rahul Gandhi had entered the middle to fight. His behavior was like that of a goon, this country will not tolerate a goon. He pushed one of our elderly MPs and made him fall."
