Trudeau did not want Freeland to remain Finance Minister
In her letter, Chrystia Freeland wrote, that you no longer want me to work as your finance minister. After consideration, I have come to a conclusion that, only honest and viable path for me is to resign from Canada government Cabinet.
Freeland's resignation comes soon after reports that Canadian Housing Minister Sean Fraser is resigning from the Cabinet.
Trudeau is preparing to reshuffle his Cabinet
A report in a newspaper of Canada, also said that Trudeau is preparing to reshuffle his Cabinet due to the departure of many people in the last few months. Fraser is one of the most high-profile people and was seen as a rising star in the party.
There was a conflict between Trudeau and Freeland regarding this matter
According to a local media report, said that there was a conflict between Freeland and Justin Trudeau over the government's proposal of temporary tax exemption and other expenditure measures.
