Box Office: Mahavatar Narsimha Crosses Rs.200 Crore, Coolie and War 2 Slow on Day 3

Box Office: South superstar Rajinikanth’s multi-starrer Coolie is still attracting audiences but witnessed a dip on Saturday. After a strong opening of Rs.65 crore on Day 1 and Rs.54.75 crore on Friday, the film earned Rs.38.6 crore on Saturday. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film features Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna, Shruti Haasan, and Aamir Khan in key roles. With this, Coolie has collected Rs.158.7 crore in just three days.

War 2 Box Office

Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR’s action spectacle War 2 is giving stiff competition to Coolie at the box office. The film collected Rs.33.25 crore on Saturday, a fall from its Rs.57.35 crore earnings on Friday. Despite the dip, War 2 has managed to secure Rs.142.71 crore in three days, proving its strong appeal among action movie lovers.

Mahavatar Narsimha Record

Defying all competition, the animated film Mahavatar Narsimha continues to roar at the box office. On Saturday, it earned Rs.6.75 crore, while Friday’s collection stood at Rs.7.25 crore. With this, the film has crossed the Rs.200 crore milestone in India, standing at Rs.202.35 crore in 23 days. Directed by Ashwin Kumar, the film narrates the divine tale of Lord Narasimha, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu.

Saiyaara 30-Day Run

Mohit Suri’s romantic drama Saiyaara, starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, has maintained a steady run at the ticket window. The film has earned Rs.324 crore in 30 days. On Friday, it collected only Rs.50 lakh, while the Saturday figures are still awaited. Despite the drop, Saiyaara continues to enjoy audience support after a month in theatres.
