In response to the increased demand for Chhath, Northern Railway has announced the operation of special trains. On Friday, October 24th, a total of 17 festival special trains will run from major stations in Delhi to Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and West Bengal. These trains aim to ensure comfortable and safe travel for passengers during the festive season.

For the convenience of passengers, the Railways has also installed additional ticket counters, waiting halls, and strengthened security arrangements at these stations. This step will significantly reduce the risk of crowds and long queues.

These 17 special trains will operate to several major cities, including Patna, Lucknow, Darbhanga, Mansi, Dhanbad, and Howrah.
