Authorities enabled live tracking of the draw through an online streaming link, allowing applicants to follow the proceedings in real time.
Result Access and Updates
The list of selected candidates is expected to be published on the official admission portal in the coming days.
Candidates will also receive SMS alerts on their registered mobile numbers once the results are declared.
Transparent Digital System
The lottery was conducted through a centralised digital system to ensure transparency in the selection process.
Application Rules and Eligibility
This year, authorities removed the earlier restriction of selecting schools within a one kilometre radius.
Applicants can now choose schools within 1 km, 1 to 3 km, and beyond 3 km categories.
Guardians were also given the option to edit submitted forms through an ‘unconfirm’ facility. Officials advised applicants to correct any errors, as incomplete or incorrect details may lead to cancellation of admission.
Document Verification Guidelines
Applicants were required to upload all necessary documents during submission.
Officials stated that incomplete documentation at the verification stage can result in disqualification, even if a student is selected in the lottery.
Key Instructions for Parents
Parents were instructed to verify address details and location coordinates before final submission. Certain details, including the child’s date of birth, cannot be modified once submitted.
Duplicate applications for the same child will be disqualified from the process.
Authorities clarified that only nationalised bank passbooks will be accepted as valid proof of residence. Gas books will not be considered.
For children with disabilities, a minimum of 40 per cent disability certification is mandatory for eligibility.
