Sanskruti Balgude became the first Marathi actress whose film was screened at Warner Bros. Studios. Now, as Courage reaches the New York International Film Awards (Quarter Finalist) she shared her thoughts

“Courage, which was shot in 2023, was my very first English film. Later, during 2024–2025, the film was screened at many film festivals, and we received immense love from audiences. This film gave me the opportunity to represent Indian cinema internationally. In 2026, I started my own dance drama Sambhavami Yuge Yuge, and today Courage has once again reached a new height, which makes me extremely proud. I truly appreciate the entire team—seeing an Indian-made film being appreciated across the seas is deeply emotional. I always wished to be recognized globally as an actress, and that dream has been fulfilled through Courage. While I feel immense happiness, there is also a sense of responsibility that comes with it. The beginning of 2026 has been so beautiful, and I’m excited to see what new experiences the future holds for me"

In Courage, Sanskruti plays the role of Rani, while actor Sharib Hashmi appears in the lead role as Jaideep. The film is directed by Marathi filmmaker Ankur Kakatkar.

At the same time Sanskruti dance drama “Sambhavami Yuge Yuge” is also drawing audience attention, and viewers are now eagerly waiting to see what new roles she will appear in next.
