Bollywood is showing no signs of slowing down, and neither are some of the most established actors. With exciting releases already in the pipeline, Bollywood looks packed with actors dominating the calendar.

Take a look at the stars who are booked and busy this year!

Ranbir Kapoor

Ranbir Kapoor has already created a storm with the thunderous teaser of his upcoming ambitious film, Ramayana. Helmed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana has easily become one of the biggest upcoming films of the year, scheduled for a grand theatrical release during Diwali this year. In addition to this, the actor also has Ramayana 2, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War, and Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal Park in the pipeline.

Abhishek Banerjee

Abhishek Banerjee has joined the list of the busiest actors this year, with Lust Stories 3 in his kitty. The International Emmy-nominated anthology series is returning for a third round with Abhishek Banerjee sharing the screen space with Konkona Sen Sharma. Banerjee has also joined forces with Gajraj Rao and Ahsaas Channa for a new, untitled project. While the details are kept under wraps, the excitement is sky-high to witness three substantial performers collaborate. The actor also has Mahasangam coming up, a feature film set against Mahakumbh, that explores family, legacy, and music.

Rajkummar Rao

Rajkummar Rao has also placed himself as a busy actor this year. He is coming up with a high-stakes drama, Raftaar, co-starring Keerthy Suresh. Directed by Aditya Nimbalkar, the film is slated for a theatrical release on July 24. Rao will also be seen in Nikam, a biopic based on Indian advocate Ujjwal Nikam. His list continues with an ambitious biopic on Sourav Ganguly, titled ‘Dada’. The actor has already kick-started shooting in Kolkata, followed by schedules in London and Mumbai. Reports are also rife that the Stree actor has joined forces with director Shoojit Sircar for a satirical two-hero film.

Aparshakti Khurana

After establishing his footing in Bollywood, Aparshakti Khurana is expanding his appeal by making his Tamil cinema debut with ROOT: Running Out Of Time. The film marks a sharp turn for Khurana as it brings on the challenge of a non-native language and explores the concept of sci-fi thrill. In addition to this, he also has Gunmaaster G9 coming up, where he ditches lighthearted roles to play the primary, menacing antagonist, marking a bold leap for Khurana. Though the details are kept under wraps, his fans are keen to see him venture into a grey shade with Gunmaaster G9.

Vicky Kaushal

Vicky Kaushal, one of the most in-demand actors of today’s Bollywood, will be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, co-starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. The audience is also keen to see him in Amar Kaushik’s mythological film, Mahavatar, another ambitious release for Kaushal. With as many as two heavyweight films coming right up from the Chhaava star, Vicky Kaushal is sure to change the course of Bollywood for the right reasons.

With the busiest actors coming up with incredible projects, Bollywood surely promises cinematic fireworks for film lovers!
