Israel big attack on Houthi rebels, fired missiles at several targets in Yemen's capital Sanaa

Israel on Sunday carried out heavy air strikes in Yemen's capital Sanaa, killing six and injuring 86 others. During the attacks, sounds of explosions were heard in many residential areas of Sanaa. The Israeli army says that several places have been targeted in the air strike, including power plants and a gas station. Meanwhile  air strike has been carried out in response to the attack on Israel by Houthi rebels.

According to a Houthi Health Ministry spokesman, six people were killed and 86 people were injured in this attack. Also Read: PM Modi on 2-day Gujarat visit from today will launch projects worth 5,477 crores After the air strike, the Israeli army issued a statement saying that these attacks were carried out in response to repeated attacks on Israel and its citizens by Houthi militants, including surface-to-surface missiles and UAVs (drones) against Israeli people last week. The Israeli army said that their target was a military complex in Sanaa, which included the Presidential Palace, two power plants and a fuel station.

'Six people killed in attack'

Earlier on Friday, Houthi rebels claimed that they had fired a ballistic missile towards Israel. This attack was carried out in support of Palestinians in Gaza. Israeli Air Force official said that, the missile contained several submunitions designed to explode. The official said, 'This is the first time that Yemen has fired such a missile.' Apart from this, they have repeatedly fired missiles towards Israel, most of which were destroyed by the Israeli army in the air. In response, Israel has attacked Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen.

Support to Palestinians will continue

A senior Houthi official Abdul Qader al-Murtada said on X on Sunday that the Houthis would continue their solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza. He said, 'Israel should know that we will not abandon our Gaza brothers, no matter how much sacrifice has to be made.'
