Israel under attack by Hamas, 5000 rockets fired into the country

Palestinian militant group Hamas has attacked Israel on Saturday.  They have reportedly fired 5000 rockets in the Central and southern Israel. These attacks have killed at least 22 people in Israel. Palestinian militant group has infiltrated the country by firing rockets as well as infiltrating militants in the country. These rockets were fired from across the Gaza strip into Israel. Israel has warned the public with by firing sirens in the southern and central areas of the country asking people to remain vigilant and near bomb  shelters so that they can protect themselves from the firings. October 7, Saturday is celebrated as a holiday in Israel by Jewish community. The festival of Simchat Torah was celebrated in the country when it came under the attack by Hamas. Indian Prime Minister expressed concern and solidarity with Israel. Israel is a friendly nation to India. Therefore,  to stand for the relations, India came forward in support for Israel. "Deeply shocked by the news of terrorist attacks in Israel. Our thoughts and prayers are with the innocent victims and their families. Operation Al Aqsa Floods

Hamas Al Qassam Bridages launched the operation "Al Aqsa Floods" by firing thousands of rocket. According to reports Hamas launched this attack after provocations in Al Aqsa and treatment against Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails. Hamas militants were roaming on the cities with fire arms in the hands firing openly in Israel. Reports say that militants were firing on Israeli nations from rooftops and rushing into houses of Israelis. Local media reports state that several Palestinian people died in the counter attacks by Israeli forces.

Response of Israel

Israel Defense Force's official handle on X gave the information that the Israel were hearing sirens across the country and terrorists have infiltrated the country from Gaza. They said that the country woke up to sirens sounding and Hamas firing rockets from GAZA".  The tweet also read "we will defend ourselves". In retaliation to the attack, the Israeli forces launched strikes against Hamas in Gaza. The forces launched operation "Iron sword".  The forces destroyed third Gaza tower as well. Israel's Ambassador to India Naor Gilon took to twitter to say “Israel is under a combined attack from Gaza during the Jewish holiday. Both by rockets and ground infiltration of Hamas terrorists. The situation is not simple but Israel will prevail.” Israel is ready to face, confront and answer Hamas for this move.
