Firefighters and Police Work to Control the Blaze
The fire caused massive smoke to fill the air, and visuals from the scene showed a chaotic situation at the parking lot. Around 12 fire engines were rushed to the location to contain the fire. They were supported by personnel from the Government Railway Police (GRP), Railway Protection Force (RPF), and local police. The teams worked relentlessly for over two hours to bring the flames under control. Social media videos showed police officers trying their best to manage the situation, using water hoses amid heavy smoke and the spread of fire.Cause of the Fire: Short Circuit Identified
Preliminary investigations suggest that the fire was caused by a short circuit. The fire reportedly started in the early hours of the morning and quickly spread through the parking area.
