In a video that went viral, suitcases filled with cash were seen being exchanged between the bride and groom's families. The bride's family handed over Rs. 2.5 crore in cash to the groom’s side as part of the wedding customs. Additionally, the groom’s family gave Rs. 11 lakh as part of the joota churai ritual, a tradition where the bride’s sisters “steal” the groom’s shoes and demand money in return.More Lavish Gifts for the Ceremony
