Ahead of holi festival Police Commissionerate of GBN has beefs up security in Noida
Amidst of holi festival Gautam Buddha Nagar Police Commissionerate has made elaborate security arrangements for the Holi festival.
The Gautam Buddha Nagar Police Chief Laxmi Singh has made elaborate security arrangements for the Holi festival. Holika Dahan will take place at 1,150 locations, for which 3,500 police personnel will be deployed.
On the occasion of Holi in the Gautam Buddha Nagar Police Commissionerate has deployed 3,500 police personnel for security arrangements during the festival. Noida Police will take strict action against those creating disturbances. Meanwhile, Additional Police Commissioner Rajiv Narayan Mishra held a meeting of the Central Peace Committee with the Deputy Commissioners of all three zones at the Police Commissioner's office in Sector 108. He appealed to the public to celebrate the festival peacefully.
Flag marches will be held in every area
Police Commissioner Lakshmi Singh has outlined security arrangements for the Holi festival. Preparations have been made for the Holika Dahan and Holi celebrations to be held at 1,150 locations in all three zones. In all three zones, duties are being assigned based on station-wise information. Every day, police and paramilitary forces are conducting flag marches in the police station areas under the leadership of the zone's DCP, ADCP, and Assistant Commissioner of Police.
Police officers are holding peace committee meetings with religious leaders and prominent figures. Emphasis is being placed on celebrating the festival peacefully. A warning is being issued that those who disrupt law and order will be dealt with strictly.
Police also keeping a close eye on social media
Meanwhile, Additional Commissioner of Police (Security and Law and Order), Rajiv Narayan Mishra, while holding a central peace committee meeting with the DCPs of all three zones, urged everyone to celebrate the festivals with mutual brotherhood, harmony, and social harmony.
