Noida Police Commissionerate in alert to maintain peace and security, ahead of festive season

Under guidance of Gautam Buddha Nagar Commissioner Laxmi Singh, Noida Police in alert mood amidst Holi and Ramadan around the corner. In view of the second Friday of Ramadan and the festival of Holi, the police remained on full alert. Police personnel were deployed at all mosques, and kept an eye on every visitor.

Dadri police are taking strict measures to maintain peace during the Ramadan and Holi festivals. At a peace committee meeting held at Jarcha police station, ACP Prashali Gangwar directed strict vigilance against rioters and drunkards. Police will be deployed at Holika Dahan sites.

Noida Police has issued waring, those who disrupt law and order  

The police will deal strictly with those who disturb peace and harmony during the festivals of Ramadan and Holi. Police will be deployed at Holika Dahan sites. Police will keep a close watch on rioters and drunkards. Religious leaders, village heads, and prominent figures from the area attended the peace committee meeting held at Jarcha police station on Wednesday, chaired by the Dadri ACP.

They were asked about the difficulties people face during festivals. They shared their concerns with the police, which were resolved. Following the villagers' demand, they were assured that police would be present during Holika Dahan. Strict vigil was maintained on rowdies and drunkards. A warning was issued that strict action would be taken against those who create disturbances.

Appeal to celebrate Ramadan and Holi in harmony

The meeting, chaired by ACP Dadri Prashali Gangwar, began with the introduction of the people. Station House Officer Kailash Nath appealed for a peaceful and harmonious celebration of Ramadan and Holi. The police shared their contact numbers with the people. Police presence was requested due to the occupation of the Holika Dahan site in Jamshedpur and the offering of Namaz in Khangoda.

People reported that in some villages, drunken miscreants set the fire prematurely during Holika Dahan, leading to fights. They also demanded police deployment at the Holika Dahan and monitoring of rowdies and drunkards. On this occasion, ACP Dadri Prashali Gangwar said that all problems in the area will be resolved. Holi will be celebrated during Ramadan.
