Telugu NRI Couple Killed in Riyadh, Teenage Son Dies by Suicide

A Telugu couple were allegedly killed by their teenage son in Riyadh on Thursday. The boy later died by suicide, according to sources.

Gali Ravi and Sridevi, natives of Rajahmundry in Andhra Pradesh, were living in Riyadh along with their only son, Prabhakar, who was studying in Class 12 at an Indian school.

Sources said the parents were allegedly killed by Prabhakar at their residence in the Hara area of the city. He later ended his life by jumping from a building at another location.

Ravi was working as a software engineer. Sridevi was employed as a teacher in an Indian school in Riyadh.

The family had been residing in Saudi Arabia for several years and was known among members of the Andhra community in the city.

Authorities have not issued an official statement on the incident so far.
