Acting under the directives of the Police Commissioner of Gautam Buddh Nagar, Smt. Laxmi Singh, and under the guidance of the Additional Police Commissioner (Law & Order), Shri Rajiv Narayan Mishra—and under the supervision of the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Women's Safety)—professional counselors and the FDRC (Family Dispute Resolution Clinic) facilitated counseling and mediation services for cases involving family disputes and stress. Conducted between October 1, 2025, and March 31, 2026, through various counseling centers, 'Pink Booths,' and community policing initiatives, these efforts successfully brokered settlements, thereby reuniting numerous families on the verge of collapse and saving them from disintegration.

Within the Gautam Buddh Nagar Police Commissionerate, the FDRC (Family Dispute Resolution Clinic) is actively operational, dedicated to resolving family and marital disputes. Its primary objective is to resolve interpersonal differences within families, thereby maintaining peace and stability within society.

This initiative is proving to be an effective model for preventing families from breaking apart through the coordinated efforts of the police and counseling professionals.

Through mediation and counseling, the team comprising the FDRC and the Women's Assistance Cell listens to both parties involved and proposes balanced solutions. Professional counselors provide appropriate guidance by addressing and understanding the psychological, emotional, and behavioral issues at play. Additionally, programs are organized periodically to raise awareness regarding marital and family-related challenges. Effective assistance is also extended—and resolutions ensured—in cases involving domestic violence, dowry-related issues, and other social concerns.

The model established by the FDRC not only simplifies the process of dispute resolution but also plays a pivotal role in empowering society by providing emotional and social support. By fostering stability within families, it creates a positive and secure environment for the next generation.
