Pak Army 'surrenders' to Taliban in 15-minute battle: A fierce battle is once again raging between Taliban fighters and Pakistani forces. Both forces are fighting in Spin Boldak, located on the Afghanistan-Pakistan border. Heavy fighting broke out between the Pakistani army and the Afghan Taliban in the Spin Boldak area at around 4 a.m. this morning. A border image posted on social media shows the Spin Boldak-Chaman border crossing.

Spin Boldak is located on the Afghanistan-Pakistan border. It is connected by a highway to Kandahar city to the north and Chaman and Quetta in Pakistan to the south. The West-Chaman border crossing is located southeast of the city.

The Afghan Taliban claims that within 15 minutes of the clash with Pakistani troops, the Taliban forced the Pakistanis to surrender and confiscated their weapons.

Another video shows that the Taliban seized the Pakistanis' weapons within 15 minutes of the battle.

Ali Mohammad Haqmal, information chief of Spin Boldak district, told TOLO News that both light and heavy weapons are being used in the ongoing fighting. There is no official information yet on the number of casualties, but reports indicate that Pakistani artillery shelling has destroyed civilian homes, forcing many residents to flee the area.

Recent Pakistan-Afghanistan Clashes

On the night of October 11-12, the Afghan Taliban attacked Pakistani military posts in response to Pakistani airstrikes. The Taliban claimed to have killed 58 Pakistani soldiers and captured 25 posts, while Pakistan reported that 23 of its soldiers were killed and over 200 Taliban fighters were killed. The fighting is taking place near the Durand Line, the location where Pakistan accuses Afghanistan of harboring the TTP (Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan). Pakistan frequently accuses the TTP of carrying out attacks on its territory. In retaliation, Pakistan launched drone strikes in Kandahar and Helmand. Amid the tensions, the two countries have closed the border, disrupting trade and stranding thousands of vehicles.
