Gaav: Sarvasukha Prada,” meaning that cows bring prosperity and happiness. He mentioned that the calf was born to a cow at his residence and named it Deepjyoti about the light-like symbol on its forehead.

He can also be seen playing with the calf, showing affection by caressing and kissing it. PM Modi's Bond with Animals

These small, dwarf-sized cattle are the shortest-humped cattle in the world, and they are believed to reside permanently at the Prime Minister's residence.

The Punganur cows, native to places like Punganoor, Vayalapadu, Madanapalli, and Palamaneer in Andhra Pradesh, are notable for their small size, which makes them easy to keep at home. These cows are also considered special due to their rarity and significance in Indian farming culture.
