Sequel to the 2018 Hit Film

Raid 2 is the sequel to the 2018 hit film Raid, where Ajay Devgn played Amay Patnaik, an officer on a mission to uncover hidden black money. In the first part, he raided the house of Rameshwar Singh (Tauji), uncovering illegal wealth. This time, Amay is targeting Dada Bhai, a cunning politician with a dark secret.

Riteish Deshmukh as the New Villain

In Raid 2, Riteish Deshmukh plays Dada Bhai, a powerful politician who appears good in public but has a hidden dark side. With his intense expressions and manipulative ways, he seems to be a tough opponent for Amay Patnaik. The teaser hints at a gripping battle between the two.

About Raid 2

Apart from Ajay Devgn and Riteish Deshmukh, the film features Vaani Kapoor, Rajat Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, Supriya Pathak, Amit Sial, and Yashpal Sharma in key roles. Vaani Kapoor plays Amay’s wife, a role previously portrayed by Ileana D’Cruz. Reports also suggest a cameo by Raveena Tandon.

Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, Raid 2 is set to release in theaters on May 1, 2025.
