Rohit Sharma Announced Retirement from Test Cricket, Will Continue to play for ODIs
Amid speculations of being removed from Test captaincy, Rohit Sharma surprised the cricket world by retiring.

#RohitSharma took over Test captaincy in 2022 and led India to a 2-0 clean sweep over Sri Lanka in his first series as a captain.

Rohit ended his Test career with 4,301 runs in 67 Tests at an average of 40.57, including 12 centuries and 18 fifties. He was appointed captain in 2022 after Virat Kohli resigned from captaincy.
