Shahid Kapoor's 'Deva' unveils cop look, promises Dussehra delight in 2024

On the auspicious occasion of Dussehra, Shahid Kapoor delighted his fans by revealing the very first glimpse of his upcoming movie, 'Deva.' Adding to the excitement, he also officially confirmed that the film is slated to hit the theaters on Dussehra next year, precisely on October 11, 2024. In this sneak peek, Shahid Kapoor showcases a more muscular appearance, donning a dapper white shirt and beige trousers, complemented by a stubble and a stylish shorter haircut.

Notably, he is also sporting a distinctive pendant that bears a striking resemblance to a ring, adding an intriguing element to his character's persona. Sharing the picture on Instagram, actor wrote, “DEVA in theatres on Dussehra 11th October 2024. @hegdepooja @rosshanandrrews @shariq_patel #SiddharthRoyKapur @zeestudiosofficial @RoyKapurFilms @zeemusiccompany @Zeecinema.” Soon after fans started commenting on his post. One fan wrote, "Shahid Kapoor with buzz cut, chain bracelet on wrist, white shirt and gun in his hand ... what a fabulous combo." Another wrote, “WHAT A LOOK!!!! Best of luck @shahidkapoor.” One more said, “Superb news Deva. I am very excited for this one and also excited to see you as Cop.”

Shahid Kapoor will be seen alongside Pooja Hegde in the film 'Deva.' which is directed by Rosshan Andrrews, known for Malayalam blockbusters like 'Salute' and 'Kayamkulam Kochunni.'

Shahid's most recent appearance was in the action-packed thriller 'Bloody Daddy,' directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, which was streamed on the JioCinema. This year, the actor ventured into the world of web series with his debut in 'Farzi.' While reports suggest Shahid's return for 'Farzi 2,' there hasn't been an official confirmation yet. In addition to 'Deva,' Shahid is set to star in an untitled film alongside Kriti Sanon, scheduled for a theatrical release on February 9, 2024. The initial glimpse of the film depicted the two actors seated face to face on a motorcycle against the backdrop of a beach.
