Jawa 42 Ivory Price & Features: Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles, the country's leading two-wheeler manufacturer, has updated the color lineup of its popular Jawa 42 in the Indian market. Known for its retro look and modern technology, the Jawa 42 is now offered in a new color. The company has launched this bike in an Ivory shade, which gives it a distinct and premium look. This new color has been introduced keeping in mind customers who want an exclusive feel with classic style.
The new Ivory color variant of the Jawa 42 has been priced at ₹1.85 lakh (ex-showroom). This makes it the most expensive color variant of the model. Previously, the variant with dual-channel ABS and alloy wheels went up to ₹1.83 lakh. With the new price, this variant directly targets premium customers.
What's Special in the Design?
The pastel ivory shade is applied to the bike's front fender, headlamp cover, fuel tank, side panels, and rear fender. The tank is embossed in large and bold letters with the number 'Forty Two', while the side panels feature the number '42'. These details set it apart from other color variants. The engine and other parts are finished in black paint, giving the bike a factory custom look.
Mechanically, the new Ivory Jawa 42 remains unchanged. It is powered by a 294.7cc, liquid-cooled engine that produces 27 bhp and 26.84 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox with assist and slipper clutch options. The bike is built on a double-cradle frame and features telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. High-spec variants come with alloy wheels, while customers can also opt for wire-spoke rims.
Warranty and Service Support
Under the Jawa Yezdi Ownership Assurance Program, the Jawa 42 comes with a standard warranty of 4 years or 50,000 kilometers. Customers can also opt for an extended warranty for a further fee, bringing the total warranty to 6 years. Additionally, the bike also comes with 8 years of roadside assistance and a 5-year AMC package, which is applicable nationwide.
