Uttarakhand Cloudburst: The phase of devastation in Uttarakhand is not taking the name of ending. Meanwhile the cloudburst has happened once again in Chamoli district. This incident has happened in Mopata, in which two people are missing. The administration has started relief and rescue work. At the same time, a bridge being washed away in Lawara village of Kedarghati. Apart from this, Alaknanda and Mandakini are also in spate in Rudraprayag district. Giving priority to the safety of the students in view of the continuous heavy rains and bad weather conditions in Pithoragarh district, District Magistrate Vinod Goswami has declared a holiday on 29 August in all government, non-government and private schools.
Cloudburst in Chamoli
It is being told that the cowshed near the residence has been buried under the debris, in which about 15 to 20 animals are reported to be buried. State Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also gave information about this on Twitter. Alaknanda above danger level in Rudraprayag
The water level is continuously rising at the confluence of Alaknanda and Mandakini in Rudraprayag district. The Alaknanda river has crossed the danger mark, creating a flood-like situation. The river water has reached residential houses, due to which the administration has evacuated the affected houses. The situation is so serious that the Hanuman temple of Rudraprayag has also drowned in the river. The water level of the Mandakini river is reminding of the horrific situation of 2013.
