World Boxing Championships: Jaismine Lamboria clinches gold, Defeats Paris Olympics' Silver Medalist
Indian female boxer Jasmine Lamboria was successful in winning the gold medal by defeating Poland's boxer in the final match of the 57 kg women's category in the World Boxing Championship 2025.
World Boxing Championships: India's female boxer Jasmine Lamboria has won the gold medal in the 57 kg category at the World Boxing Championship 2025 being held in Liverpool. Jasmine faced Poland's boxer Julia Sremeta in the final match, whom she succeeded in defeating. This is the first gold medal for India in the World Championship so far. Jasmine was slightly behind in the first round of this match, but after that she made a brilliant comeback in the second round and won the match. After being eliminated early in Paris 2024, I improved my technique physically and mentally. This is the result of a year of constant hard work.
