US urges India, Pakistan to seek 'responsible solution' as tensions escalate over Pahalgam attack
America has come forward in view of India's tough stand after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. America has asked India and Pakistan to reduce tension. America has said that it stands with New Delhi against terrorism. It has also been said from America that Islamabad should cooperate in the investigation of the Pahalgam terrorist attack.

According to a press release issued by the Prime Minister's Office of Pakistan, Shahbaz Sharif apprised the US Secretary of State of Pakistan's position on the regional situation. Pakistan pleaded before America
Pakistan has urged America to put pressure on India to avoid provocative statements. Sharif also raised the issue of the Indus Water Treaty. Pakistan said that the water received under the treaty is a lifeline for 24 crore people. He claimed that there is no provision in the treaty for unilateral withdrawal by any party.
