Devendra Fadnavis will become the Chief Minister of Maharashtra for the third time. Eknath Shinde may have made him restless for some time, but Fadnavis remained firm on his intentions. He did not surrender in the race for the Chief Minister post and finally won the race. Devendra Fadnavis becomes the rising sun of BJP in Maharashtra.  He is the only BJP Chief Minister who completed five years of his tenure. Devendra Fadnavis' political journey did not start directly from the post of MLA or CM. He came into active politics at a very young age. He has been an active member of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad. He became a councilor in the municipal body for the first time while being a member of ABVP.

Devendra Fadnavis was born on 22 July 1970 in Nagpur, Maharashtra. Devendra Fadnavis received his schooling from Saraswati Vidyalaya, Nagpur. Completed his law degree from Law College Nagpur. In the year 2002-03, he was awarded the Best Parliamentarian Award by the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association. In the year 2013, he became the president of the state unit of BJP in Maharashtra. Devendra married Amrita Fadnavis in the year 2006. Devendra Fadnavis has written three Marathi books Amrita works in a bank and is also an actress. Devendra and Amrita have a daughter named Divija. In 2001, Fadnavis became the National Vice President of BJP Yuva Morcha. Father Gangadhar Rao was in Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and Jan Sangh. Mother Sarita is a descendant of the famous Kalti family of Amravati. He became CM for the first time in 2014.

Devendra Fadnavis become face of BJP in Maharashtra

In the Maharashtra Assembly elections, BJP got 132 seats, Shiv Sena got 57 and NCP got 41 seats. In this way, Mahayuti has formed the government with 230 seats. BJP remains the elder brother with 132 seats. Now the Mahayuti government will be formed under the leadership of BJP. Tomorrow i.e. on 5 December, the Mahayuti government is taking oath. Devendra Fadnavis will take oath for the third time.
