On Day 6 of the Paris Olympics, Swapnil Kusale delivered an outstanding performance to secure a bronze medal in the Men's 50m Rifle 3 Positions final. Kusale's achievement boosts India's medal count to three, following earlier wins by Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh in team shooting and Bhaker’s individual bronze. However, India's performance faltered in the 20km race walking final, where athletes Akshdeep, Vikash, and Paramjeet struggled to make an impact. Priyanka Goswami will represent India in the women's race walk final, which takes place in the first half of the day. In badminton, an exciting match awaits as HS Prannoy and Lakshya Sen face off in the men's singles round of 16. Additionally, the Indian men's hockey team is set to compete against Belgium in their Pool B match. The day's first half will also feature Nikhat Zareen in her women's 50kg round of 16 bout and archery events, with Sift Kaur Samra and Anjum Moudgil competing in the women's 50m Rifle 3 Positions qualification.
