US-Israel-Iran War Updates: The conflict in the Middle East continues to escalate as the US-Israel confrontation with Iran enters yet another volatile phase. The fighting has spread across multiple fronts, and global energy markets remain under strain. US President Donald Trump has urged Britain and other allied nations to dispatch naval vessels to assist in securing the Strait of Hormuz—a critical oil shipping lane that Iran has threatened to block. Trump has vowed that this route will be reopened "by any means necessary." Furthermore, Trump has warned that the United States will take action if shipping operations remain disrupted. Maritime authorities report that since the onset of the conflict, approximately 16 vessels operating within and around the Gulf region have come under attack.

Attacks on ships have occurred, heightening tensions within the global oil supply chain and energy markets.

Iran's new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, has signaled that the blockade will persist; meanwhile, Iranian officials have issued a warning that should their own facilities face further attacks, they may target energy infrastructure linked to American companies. The repercussions of this standoff have already begun to impact the global economy, driving up fuel prices and roiling oil markets.

Meanwhile, military tensions continue to mount across the entire region. The Israeli military reports that Iran launched multiple waves of attacks over the weekend, with drone strikes targeting various locations in Iraq and Lebanon, while missiles struck territories within Israel. The US Embassy compound in Baghdad was also subjected to a drone attack.
