Heavy Rain In Delhi-NCR: The weather has suddenly changed on Wednesday night in many states of North India including Delhi-NCR. Life has been affected by heavy rain and storm. Power supply has come to a standstill in many areas, traffic has also been disrupted. Winds blew at a speed of 79 KM per hour in Safdarjung, Delhi. After a strong storm in Ghaziabad, a period of rain has started. While hail has also occurred in many areas. Hailstorm accompanied by heavy storm and rain also occurred in Baghpat

Winds blew at a speed of 79 KM
On the other hand, heavy dust storm blew in areas like Yamuna Vihar, Bhajanpura and Gokalpuri in East Delhi. Visibility reduced due to the sudden dust storm. Heavy storm also blew in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad, there are reports of trees falling from many places, due to which traffic was affected and power supply was also disrupted.

Due to the storm in Delhi, the temperature has dropped by 14 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature fell from 37 degrees Celsius to 23 degrees Celsius
Hail fell in many areas
Heavy rain along with strong winds affected the entire Delhi-NCR region. Due to strong winds blowing at a speed of 72 KM per hour in Palam, trees fell in many areas and power supply was also affected. Dust storm blew at Indira Gandhi International Airport (Terminal-3). After this, heavy rain also occurred.
Weather mood deteriorated in Uttarakhand
Weather also changed in Uttarakhand. Heavy rains were recorded in many districts after the alert of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD). Due to this, heavy rains have occurred in many areas of Yamunotri and Barkot (Uttarkashi) as well as Bironkhal (Pauri district). Due to heavy rains in Yamunotri and Barkot area, the water level of rivers and streams increased and the road was blocked at many places.
Traffic in rural areas was also affected due to torrential rains in Bironkhal area of Pauri district. Rain was recorded in Dehradun city and surrounding areas.
