Trump orders strike on Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen, 32 killed in airstrike
USA Airstrike on Yemen Houthis: US President Donald Trump on Saturday launched a massive military action against Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen in response to attacks on Red Sea shipping, in which at least 24 people were killed. Trump warned that if the Houthi rebels continue to attack, their situation will become worse than hell.
The Houthis had recently announced to resume attacks on Israeli ships passing through the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea. After this, the US has targeted their bases.
He has also warned Iran to immediately stop supporting the Houthis. Trump made it clear, 'If Iran threatens America, America will not show any leniency.'
Attacks may continue for weeks'
According to a Reuters report, an official giving information about these attacks said that perhaps these attacks could continue for weeks. It is worth noting that this is the biggest military attack carried out by the US Army in the Middle East since Trump assumed the presidency in January.

'Fully prepared to respond'
At least 13 civilians were killed and 9 people were injured in US attacks in Yemen's capital Sanaa. This information has been given by the Houthi-controlled Health Ministry. At the same time, six people lost their lives in another US attack in Yemen's northern province of Saada, including four children and a woman.
11 people have also been injured in this attack.
A spokesman for the Houthis said that their army is fully prepared to respond with explosive action. Residents of Sanaa said that a Houthi hideout was targeted, causing such a strong explosion that the entire neighborhood shook.
Shipping ships are being targeted'
The Houthis have carried out more than 100 attacks on shipping since November 2023, forcing the US military to launch several operations to intercept missiles and drone attacks.
Summary
The Houthis are trying to portray this conflict as their solidarity with the Palestinians in the war between Hamas and Israel in Gaza.
