GBN Police Commissioner Lakshmi Singh, unique initiative for women empowerment Mission Shakti 5.0

Police Commissioner Lakshmi Singh a very impressive initiative for women empowerment in Gautam Buddh Nagar area Mission Shakti campaign-5.0. Under this program women's empowerment and women's safety awareness were conducted in various police station areas of Gautam Buddh Nagar Commissionerate. Local citizens were made aware of women's safety, cyber security, and various government schemes. During this time, the Mission Shakti team also informed women personnel about the objectives and functioning of the Mission Shakti centers established at the police stations and the facilities available related to women's safety.

Under the Mission Shakti campaign-5.0, launched by the government for women's empowerment, on December 9, 2025, the Mission Shakti team provided information to people at various locations about the functioning of police stations, police helpline numbers, cyber fraud, and laws related to women's harassment. Girls and women were given information about cyber security, digital safety, and the proper use of social media. They were advised to avoid sharing personal information on social media to ensure their safety. Police officers held positive discussions and explained about good touch and bad touch, and domestic violence. They also advised people to seek help from police helpline numbers in any emergency situation. The cyber security team visited companies and provided information to all present about cyber security and cyber crimes. During this time, employees were made aware of potential cyber threats, safe internet and digital behavior, password security, social media security, and measures to prevent activities like online fraud and phishing. In addition, employees were also informed about cyber helpline numbers and other important information related to cyber security so that they can get immediate assistance in case of any cyber incident and ensure the security of their personal and institutional data.  

Summary

Under the Mission Shakti campaign-5.0, women beat police officers in all police station areas of Gautam Buddh Nagar Commissionerate are regularly visiting villages, towns, bus stands, and other public places to create awareness among girls and women and provide information for the resolution of women-related problems. Along with this, awareness is being created by providing pamphlets related to various helpline numbers.
