Kulgam Encounter: Security forces killed 1 terrorist in J&K, 2 more suspected to be hiding

Kulgam Encounter: Encounter between security forces and terrorists are going on in Gadar under district Kulgam in South Kashmir . According to the information, two to three terrorists are reported to be trapped in Gadar. Security forces are cordoning off the area and firing.  According to the information received, two to three terrorists are reported to be trapped here.

Security forces are cordoning off the terrorists and firing. One JCO has been injured in the ongoing encounter. However, the injury of JCO has not been officially confirmed. Meanwhile a Special Operations Group of Jammu and Kashmir, Army and CRPF are present on the encounter spote . One terrorist is reported to have been killed in the Kulgam encounter. During the search operation, the hiding terrorists opened fire on the security forces, after which the firing intensified. The Indian Army's Chinar Corps wrote on X that alert soldiers observed suspicious activity and on being challenged, the terrorists opened fire, following which there was a fierce gunfight, during which one terrorist was killed and a Junior Commissioned Officer of security forces was injured.
