Pahalgam Terror Attack: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) will now investigate the Pahalgam terror attack. The NIA team has already reached Pahalgam and started its work. Now, according to the information received from sources, the Home Ministry has handed over the responsibility of investigating the Pahalgam terror attack to the NIA. According to sources, the responsibility of investigating the Pahalgam terror attack has been handed over to the NIA by the Union Home Ministry.

What does the investigation by NIA mean?

The NIA team has been present at the spot since the Pahalgam terror attack. Which includes forensic team as well as investigating team. After this order of the Central Government, there will be an official investigation on the NIA FIR. Other agencies including Jammu and Kashmir Police will assist NIA in this investigation. Major operation of security forces continues after Pahalgam attack
