Now, according to the information received from sources, the Home Ministry has handed over the responsibility of investigating the Pahalgam terror attack to the NIA. According to sources, the responsibility of investigating the Pahalgam terror attack has been handed over to the NIA by the Union Home Ministry.
Security forces have increased vigilance in Anantnag district and search operations are being conducted continuously. Officials said that mobile vehicle checkpoints have been set up across the district to keep an eye on any suspicious activity. Officials said that security forces are searching for known terrorists and their supporters present in the valley, so that any attack like Pahalgam can be thwarted. 175 people have been detained in Anantnag.
