Noida: Ahead of Diwali festival, Commissioner Laxmi Singh taking necessary steps for public safety of GBN

 Noida:  After successfully conducting the Kanwar Yatra, Ramadan, the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show 2025, and Dussehra, Gautam Buddha Nagar Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh is now gearing up to ensure the successful completion of the upcoming festival, Diwali, considered the biggest festival in Hinduism. Under the direction of Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh, Noida Police has once again become active in ensuring the safety of the public in Gautam Buddha Nagar district ahead of the Diwali festival, and extensive preparations are underway. In this regard, Noida Police is now conducting patrols in various societies and villages across the district, including Noida and Greater Noida. Security is being reviewed.

Keeping the safety of the general public in mind, the Noida Police is now taking a unique initiative to raise awareness about fire safety in various high-rise societies daily, until the festival is over. In this sequence, on October 14th, Noida Police visited various areas of the city to review security arrangements, including Kartik Kunj, Gulmohar Garden, Omaxe Royal Residency, Express Greens, Gateway Towers Society, Sector 44, Noida; Omaxe Palm Green Society, Sector MU, Greater Noida; Cleo County, Sector 121, Noida; Samprati CVTEC, Sector 76; Eldeco Aamantran, Sector 119; Exotica Freshco, Sector 137; Ajnara Daffodil, Sector 137; The campaign was conducted in societies like JP Green Wishtown Society, Sector 133, Noida, and others. During the campaign, residents were given necessary fire safety guidelines.

Noida Police has also issued several guidelines for public safety, such as:

>Never leave flammable materials like clothes, plastic, paper, etc. on the balcony. Always keep the balcony empty. >Never place lamps or candles near curtains or clothing. When installing decorative festoons or colored lights, be careful not to overload electrical wiring. 4. Always keep all exits (stairways) free of obstructions. Do not block the path with flower pots. In the event of a fire, God forbid, the do's and don'ts have also been outlined.

In case of a fire, activate the fire alarm. Immediately try to safely exit the house or building.
