Pakistan violates ceasefire along LoC for 8th consecutive day, Indian Army responds

Pakistan has violated the ceasefire for the eighth consecutive day on the Line of Control (LoC). On the intervening night of 01 and 02 May, the Pakistani Army fired small arms without provocation from posts across the Line of Control in front of Kupwara, Baramulla, Poonch, Nowshera and Akhnoor areas of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Indian Army soldiers have given a befitting reply in a balanced and proportionate manner against this nefarious act of Pakistan.
