Ranveer Allahabadia got setback from SC, court refused to hear the case early

Ranveer Allahabadiacase has reached the Supreme Court. Former CJI's son and Ranveer's lawyer Advocate Abhinav Chandrachud filed a petition before the Supreme Court demanding an immediate hearing on it. On this, CJI Sanjiv Khanna said that there is no need for an immediate hearing. However, Allahabadia has got a setback from the court and the court has refused to hear the case early.

The Supreme Court told Ranveer's lawyer Abhinav Chandrachud that it will not consider the demand for an early hearing verbally. Justice Sanjiv Khanna asked Allahabadia's lawyer to first contact the registry. Ranveer Allahabadia has filed an anticipatory bail petition in the court. Allahabadia's lawyer Dr. Abhinav Chandrachud said that several FIRs have been registered against Ranveer in several states. He has been called for questioning by the Guwahati Police today. Therefore, the court should order the investigation and hearing of all the FIRs registered against him to be done at one place so that he does not have to run around in different states.
