The scorching heat in Delhi-NCR kept people in trouble even on Sunday. There was no change in the weather on Monday morning as well. Although there is news of relief for the people in the forecast of the Indian Meteorological Department. According to the department, there is a possibility of hide and seek between rain and sunshine in Delhi for the next three days.

The possibility of rain with dust storms in Delhi-NCR areas can provide relief from the heat.

While the temperature crossed 43 degrees Celsius in many areas of Delhi. The maximum temperature was recorded at 43.3 degrees in the Ridge area, 43.2 degrees in Palam and 42.6 degrees Celsius in Aya Nagar. The average maximum temperature of Delhi at Safdarjung centre was 42.1 degrees and the minimum was 27.2 degrees Celsius.

However, the Meteorological Department has given news of relief. There is a possibility of a major change in the weather in Delhi-NCR for the next three days, in which stormy winds and light rain can give relief to people from the heat.

Weather Department Alert

The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of bad weather in Delhi-NCR for the next three days from April 27. During this time, winds can blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour, which can sometimes reach 50 kilometers per hour. There is also a possibility of light rain or showers with thunderstorms. The weather will remain the same in areas like Ghaziabad, Noida and Gurugram of NCR.

Forecast for April 30 and May 1

The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for April 30 and May 1. Both these days it will be partly cloudy and winds will blow at a speed of 20 to 30 kmph. There is no chance of rain. The maximum temperature can be between 38 to 40 degrees and the minimum 25 to 27 degrees Celsius.

Drizzle expected on May 2

On May 2, there will be further changes in the weather. There is a possibility of light rain or drizzle with strong winds. According to the Meteorological Department, these stormy winds and rain will bring down the temperature, giving relief to people from the scorching heat.

On April 28, Delhi-NCR will be partly cloudy. Strong winds are expected to blow at a speed of 10 to 20 kmph. The effect of heat will still remain, but the situation is expected to improve with the change in weather in the coming days.

The Meteorological Department has advised people to be cautious during stormy winds and bad weather. Avoid standing under trees or weak structures in open areas and keep an eye on weather updates. To avoid the heat, it is also advised to drink sufficient water and wear light clothes.
