4 criminals, including a woman, arrested by Noida Commissionerate, for theft in the NCR region

Noida Commissionerate:  Four criminals, including a woman, who were part of a gang that surveyed houses in the Delhi-NCR region and stole valuables, have been arrested by Sector-49 police station. Police recovered a stolen car, 2 motorcycles, electronic goods, jewelry, foreign currency, Rs 45,060 in cash, and other valuables from the accused.

DCP Noida Yamuna Prasad said that today, Sector-49 Noida police, with the help of local intelligence and confidential information, arrested four accused – Vishal son of Shamshad, Ashish Masih son of Goodwill Masih, Shahrukh alias Sharuf son of Shabbir alias Sabir, and Rubina wife of Ashish – who were involved in surveying houses and committing thefts in the NCR region. Stolen goods were also recovered from them.

Also Read: Under the direction of Police Commissioner Lakshmi Singh, a RWA meeting called for security & community participation He said that during interrogation, the gang leader Ashish Masih revealed that he is a resident of Bareilly and his wife Rubina, brother-in-law Shahrukh, and his friend Vishal assisted him in the thefts. First, Ashish Masih, his friend Vishal, and his brother-in-law Shahrukh would identify houses during the day that were locked and seemed deserted.  Then, he would inform his wife Rubina about the identified houses and the theft plan. After that, they would break into the houses at night and commit the theft. He said that on the night of December 13-14, they broke into a house in Sector-49, Noida, and stole items from it along with his friend Vishal, brother-in-law Shahrukh, and wife Rubina. He said that information is being collected about the other criminal history of the accused.
