As Waqf Bill will be introduced in Rajya Sabha, how NDA, INDIA bloc numbers stack up

The Waqf Amendment Bill 2025 was passed in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday after 12 hours of discussion. 520 MPs participated in the voting held at 2 am. 288 voted in favour and 232 against. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju has named it Unified Waqf Management Empowerment, Efficiency and Development. This bill will be introduced in the Rajya Sabha today. In the meanwhile, in between the discussion, Asaduddin Owaisi tore the bill. He said – The central government wants to humiliate Muslims by this bill. I tear the Waqf Bill like Gandhi.

There is no such provision. Minorities are being intimidated for vote bank. After discussion and voting on the bill, Home Minister Amit Shah proposed to impose President's rule in Manipur, which was passed by the House by voice vote.

Amit Shah said - Waqf Bill is not for theft, but for the poor

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said, 'Waqf Bill is not for theft, but for the poor. A member is saying, minorities will not accept it, what are you threatening brother. Donation is made only for that thing on which we have right

Akhilesh said- Rijiju should tell, how many villages China has settled in his state

Akhilesh Yadav said that the minister is saying that the land of defense and railway belongs to India. I also believe this. Is the land of defense and railway not being sold? The bigger issue than the Waqf land is the land on which China has settled its villages. This Waqf bill is being brought that nobody can raise any questions.  Meanwhile SP chief also asked that, the state from which the minister comes should at least tell how many villages China has taken.

Summary

After the railway and defense ministry in India, the Waqf Board has the maximum land. About 9.4 lakh acres. 3 cities like Delhi can be settled in this much land.
