Ayodhya Deepotsav: "They opened fire, we are lighting lamps," CM Yogi targets SP from Ayodhya
Preparations for the Deepotsav have been completed at the 56 ghats of the Saryu River in Ayodhya. 35,000 volunteers from Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University are working to illuminate Ramnagari with lamps.
Ayodhya Deepotsav: All preparations for the 9th Deepotsav in Ramnagari Ayodhya have been completed. More than 2.8 million lamps have been decorated on the 56 ghats along the Saryu River, including Ram Ki Paidi. The target is to set a record of 2,611,101 lit lamps. The Guinness Book of World Records team has arrived. The lamps will be lit as soon as the sun sets. He welcomed the images of Ram, Lakshman, Sita, and Hanuman from a helicopter in the form of a Pushpak Vimana at the Ramkatha Park helipad. Speaking on the occasion of the Ayodhya Deepotsav, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, "These lamps are not just lamps; These lamps also symbolize the victory of faith over 500 years of darkness. These lamps symbolize the humiliation we endured during those 500 years and the struggles our ancestors faced. At that time, Lord Shri Ram was seated in a tent, and now, as the 9th edition of Deepotsav is being celebrated, Lord Ram is seated in his grand and divine temple.
