Beef will not be available in any eateries in Assam, state government big decision

The Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has taken a big decision regarding beef. In fact, while addressing the press, he said that beef will be banned in any hotel, restaurant, public events in Assam. Earlier it was intended to implement it around the temple, but now it has been implemented in the whole of Assam.

Regarding this, Assam Chief Minister said, “we have decided that beef will not be served in restaurant or hotel and also not in any public function or public place, so from today we have decided to completely stop the consumption of beef in hotels, restaurants and public places.

What did Himanta Biswa Sarma say

During this, he said that we had brought a law to prohibit cow slaughter in Assam, which has been 3 years. Through this law, we have got a lot of success in cow slaughter. Now we have decided that beef will not be served in any hotel or restaurant and neither will there be a ban on its inclusion in any public function. We had earlier decided that there would be a ban on eating or selling beef within a radius of 5 km of the temple. However, it has now been implemented in the entire state. Beef will neither be cooked nor eaten in hotels, restaurants, public functions across the state. It has been completely banned.

After this decision of Himanta Biswa Sarma, Pijush Hazarika has targeted Assam Congress and surrounded them. He has also given a statement on social media site X regarding this.
