Bihar Election: Angry crowd vandalized BJP rally venue after Pawan Singh fails to arrive

Bihar Election: Many popular artists are trying their luck in the Bihar elections this time, and many are holding public rallies in support of star candidates, drawing thousands of people to witness them. A similar situation was witnessed in Madhubani, where the crowd gathered to see their favorite artist at an election rally was so large that the situation spiraled out of control. Thousands of supporters had gathered to witness Bhojpuri star Pawan Singh's arrival.

The crowd broke hundreds of chairs and damaged the pandal, which had cost lakhs of rupees. Police had to resort to lathi charge to control the angry crowd.

Why did the crowd erupt in anger?

The incident took place in Kalwahi, Madhubani district, where angry supporters vandalized a public meeting after Bhojpuri star Pawan Singh failed to show up. Pawan Singh was scheduled to address a rally in support of BJP candidate Vinod Narayan Jha. When the supporters learned that Pawan Singh would not attend, the crowd at the meeting became violent and began vandalizing chairs.

Seeing the crowd's anger, the police resorted to lathi-charge, resulting in serious injuries. Several people were seriously injured, while BJP candidate Vinod Narayan Jha was seen fleeing the stage.

Campaigning for the second phase will end today

Voting for the first phase in Bihar took place on November 6th, with a record-breaking 65% voter turnout. The second phase of elections is scheduled for November 11th, for which campaigning will end today, November 9th. Elections will be held for 122 seats in the second phase, including several hotly contested constituencies.
